People talked about strategy, branding, systems, technology, processes, and hundreds of different formulas. Each person came up with a new method, a new path, and a promise that if you did what they said, results would come.

But the longer I did business, the more I realized that the most important principles are often not that complicated.

They are only difficult to implement because people are easily distracted.

If you want to make money, I think there are three principles to remember: be yourself, do something meaningful, and focus on selling.

First Principle: Be Yourself

“Be yourself” sounds more like life advice than a business principle.

But in reality, it is the foundation of everything you build in the long run.

When you’re not being yourself, you have to spend a lot of energy maintaining an image. You have to think about what others want to hear, what style the market prefers, and how you should present yourself to look like a successful person.

You might attract some attention that way, but it’s very difficult to build lasting trust.

Customers don’t just buy a product. In many cases, they also buy how you see things, how you make decisions, and how you take responsibility when things don’t go as planned.

That can’t be completely copied from someone else.

You can learn their sales techniques. You can study their business model. You can observe how they build their brand. But ultimately, you still have to bring everything back to your true self.

It’s your experiences, personality, strengths, weaknesses, and the bumps you’ve been through that make up your unique way of working.

That’s what makes customers remember you among so many similar choices.

Second Principle: Does What You Do Have Meaning?

After knowing who you are, the next question is: does what you’re doing have meaning?

I’m not talking about a grand mission to change the world. A business doesn’t necessarily have to start with grandiose statements.

Meaning is sometimes very practical.

You help a store manage orders better.

You help a business reduce operating costs.

You help someone save time.

You help a customer sell more products.

You solve a problem that keeps them up at night.

That’s already meaningful.

A product isn’t valuable because its creator feels proud. It’s valuable when someone else sees their problem solved within that product.

Therefore, before investing more time and money, ask yourself:

Who am I helping?

What problem are they facing?

Is the problem big enough for them to want to solve it immediately?

How does my solution help them better?

And most importantly, are they willing to pay for it?

If you can’t answer these questions, don’t rush into expanding. Perhaps you don’t understand your customers deeply enough. Or maybe what you’re doing is only interesting to you, but not necessary for the market.

Business doesn’t start with what we want to create.

Business starts with someone having a problem and us being able to solve that problem better than current options.

Third Principle: Focus on Selling

This is the simplest principle, but also the most frequently avoided.

Focus on selling.

Many people want to start a business but spend most of their time on things that give them the feeling of working, while in reality they don’t generate revenue.

They edit websites.

They change logos.

They build features.

They write multi-page business plans.

They discuss five-year visions.

But they don’t talk to customers.

They don’t make offers.

They don’t ask if others are willing to pay.

Preparation can provide a sense of security. Selling is different. Selling forces you to face the truth directly.

Do customers understand what you’re selling?

Do they need it?

Is the price right?

Do they trust you enough to put down the money?

The market doesn’t care how many nights you spent building the product. The market only responds to value that it can see, understand, and use.

Therefore, once you have a good enough solution, bring it to the market.

Talk to the customer.

Clearly describe the problem you solve.

Make a specific offer.

Sell, get feedback, and continue to improve.

Don’t wait until everything is perfect. Perfection in your mind is not as valuable as genuine feedback from someone who has actually used the product.

Three Principles, One Path

These three principles don’t exist in isolation.

Be yourself so you can build something unique and not exhaust yourself trying to be someone else.

Do something meaningful so your product creates real value instead of just attention.

And focus on selling so that value is realized.

Some evenings, a thought emerges slowly, but once it arrives, it lingers in my mind like the lingering taste of oak after a sip of wine.

Today, I think about plans.

Not plans written with momentary excitement, with big numbers, beautiful dreams, and a nearly perfect future. I think about a realistic plan, for a realistic period, built from what I already have.

A plan that breathes with the present.

It must change when the market changes. It must contract when resources are insufficient and expand when opportunities arise. It’s not a stone statue for us to bow down to and worship, but a living body, capable of pain, capable of growth and adaptation to continue existing.

I think about that when I picture myself sitting and eating a sandwich. The bread is still slightly warm. The cheese melts into the tiny fibers of the meat. The rich, salty, and aromatic flavors blend together, simple yet enough to make you want to close your eyes for a few seconds.

I want my life to have moments like that.

Not always intense.

Just complete.

A house near the sea. A morning without rushing. Children running across the yard. A room quiet enough for me to write. A job run by a system instead of chaos. A feeling that I’m no longer running away from my own life.

But desire doesn’t create that life.

Action creates it.

I used to neglect my plans. I let important goals linger in my head for too long, to the point where they became part of my imagination instead of a task that needed to be accomplished.

That’s a very difficult kind of failure to recognize.

You still work every day. You still answer messages, attend meetings, solve problems, and sometimes even feel incredibly busy. But deep down, you know you’re not really getting closer to where you want to be.

Your body knows it too.

It knows through restless nights, through the empty feeling at the end of the day, through an inexplicable fatigue even though you haven’t done anything truly significant. Failure doesn’t come like a fall. It enters the body very slowly, taking shape in every breath and every muscle fiber.

You say you want a big house by the beach.

But the next morning, you live as if that dream has nothing to do with what you did that day.

You want financial freedom, but you don’t track your cash flow.

You want to build a strong business, but you lack a system.

You want to change your life, but you negotiate with yourself every time discipline is needed.

Wanting to live like a warrior without going into battle is ridiculous.

I used to walk down roads with hundreds of scenarios running through my head. I imagined success, exotic cities, a glass of Martell with its deep, warm oak flavor, a hint of the alluring scent lingering on my shoulder.

Imagination is incredibly powerful.

It gives you the feeling that you’ve touched the future, even though your feet remain rooted to the spot.

And then I have to ask myself: what have I been doing all this time?

Have I built that life, or am I just constantly decorating it in my mind?

Damn it.

There are truths that just need to be stated directly.

Take action.

Not tomorrow. Not when things are better. Not when you have more money, more time, or more confidence.

Start with a plan that’s realistic enough to make you feel a little uncomfortable. A plan that forces you to look at the numbers, deadlines, resources, and your own weaknesses. Then, come back to it every day, change it as needed, but never forget it.

Because one day, you might actually be sitting by the ocean, biting into a sandwich and feeling the cheese slowly melt in your mouth.

But only if today, you’re willing to get up and build the path to get there.

The one phrase I despise hearing the most lately is: “AI will replace your job.”

It’s time for me to write and speak up, tearing away the truths that have been hidden and terribly fabricated by cheap writers and clickbait videos.

Yes, in my tech industry, things are changing drastically. But listen carefully: AI isn’t replacing me; it’s simply wiping out those who work without critical thinking.

Those who have been working sluggishly, mechanically, and without depth will have to pack their bags. Why? Not because some bot is overly smart, but because genuinely competent people are using AI to complete tasks with multiplied efficiency. At first, I was going to say they do it 100 times faster, but maybe that’s a bit of a stretch. Even so, the current gap is unbridgeable.

The brutal truth no one wants to say out loud is: AI won’t replace you, but highly-skilled people using AI will crush you.

It’s hard to express all my frustration seeing the masses being threatened, their minds genuinely clouded. And bitterly, I have to admit one fact: I was once truly stupid, too.

There was a time when my mind was also clouded, swept up in that wave of public opinion to the point where I slaved away writing a whole series of bullshit blogs called “Surviving with AI”. That’s right, I was just blindly following the trend! But when I woke up and looked back, I cursed myself: What the hell am I doing?

In reality, we are being manipulated by a scam mindset that has spread globally. The bastards out there are exploiting the gullibility, ignorance, and fear of the masses to sell useless courses, robbing people of their money with empty promises of “teaching you how to survive the AI era.”

Stay awake and look at the core of the economy. No matter how the world spins, the essence of business never changes: Simply put, I need a market, and I serve it.

So why the f*ck do I need to care about AI stealing jobs? I have my clients, I understand their pain, and I know exactly what I need to do to solve their problems. Clients pay for results, for strategic thinking, and for empathy—things no line of code could ever simulate. The tool might be AI, it might be software, but the one calling the shots must be me.

When you have real capability and create irreplaceable value, AI is merely a lever. Don’t let the labels society or the media stick on you scare you into silence. Your job is to satisfy yourself, creating value through your own effort and mindset. Speak your truth, focus on serving your market, and let the rest of the world panic in their own stupidity.
